I passionately believe that initiatives like this keep local communities together. It’s heart stopping to watch the children of Shine perform. You can feel the confidence they give each other and the tremendous sense of shared achievement. Having been in the arts for many years it still gives me a thrill to see young people of all abilities discovering the joys of singing, dance and drama.
Shining Stars is an inclusive Drama Club. An introduction to movement and music, mime and drama for all students in year 7 and above.
Sam really loved every minute of it all. It is marvellous for us to see him being included in this way. Shine is something truly exceptional
