Mr. Tim Claringbull,  Company Secretary & Director

01273 844952

Tim is a finance analyst at Heathrow Airport, but more importantly is the father of Sophie Claringbull, who has been a member of Shine Theatre Group since 2002.  Sophie has a number of complex needs and loves taking part in all the rehearsals and performances.  Despite her disabilities she was immediately accepted as part of the group and her facial expressions and her overall reactions were obvious from day one that she was having a fabulous time. The hard work and dedication of the Shine team was instrumental into volunteering to become a Trustee.  Shine is such a wonderful product that spills out across all children and you only have to witness it once, to become hooked.  At present the trust has three trustees but really needs more volunteers to expand.

Mrs. Shaughan Parish Director

01273 833196

Shaughan has always been involved with children.  Since leaving her job as a Paediatric ward sister and having five childen of her own, she has occupied her time doing voluntary work for various charities. She was branch secretary for the national charity National Association for Maternal and Child Welfare, now renamed as Action for Sick Children, then spent 15 years serving, in several capacities, on pre-school management committees and school PTAs.

Shaughan is passionate about the community in which she and her family live and is also Trustee for another local charity involving the arts.  She returned to work in 2009, this time as Practice Manager for a private GP surgery, but still volunteers at “Shining Stars” the weekly drama club designed especially for children and young adults with complex needs.
