Thank you for considering helping to raise funds so that all children can enjoy the performing arts.
A heartfelt thank you to the members and committee of Sussex Musical Productions, a local amateur theatre Group, for their kind donation.
Sadly, due to dwindling funds, the company has decided to close and donate their remaining funds to Shine Theatre Trust. The money will be well spent supporting Shining Stars, our weekly inclusive drama club.
Our thanks and good wishes to you all.
Well done to all the performers and crew for treating us all to such a wonderful show at the Cadogan Hall, London on 1st December 2013.
A truly spellbinding show, featuring past and present Shine members coming together to celebrate 15 years of Shine excellence.
Shine Theatre Trust are very proud sponsors, thank you. x
The Shine Show 2012 was a huge success so thank you to the Trust for supporting our group. The weather was unkind but it did not dampen the spirits of the performers inside the Marquee at Lodge Cottage. We sold out every performance and we had 55 students taking part in this event. Songs by Mumford and Sons, Lindisfarne and John Denver were featured in the Folk section of the show and we also had some fab numbers from musical theatre and film, including Seasons of Love and Diamonds Are Forever.
We have had some wonderful feedback from people who came to watch, so a big well done to all that were involved in this production. Next stop Martlets Musical Concert and then a Christmas Carol Concert at the Torch Trust in Hurstpierpoint.
The Class of 2011 Show which ran from 10th to 17th July was a huge success. 35 children took part in a fantastic production based around the songs of Glee!! Some fantastic voices coming through and great teamwork on stage. A huge well done to everyone who took part in this production. South Downs Nurseries and Garden Centre has given a very generous, retrospective, sponsorship of “The Sound of White”; the show staged in Holy Trinity Church, Hurstpierpoint, in December last year.
Instead of charging an entrance fee to the Sussex Heritage Museum, housed at their Hassocks Garden Centre, South Downs ask for donations. These donations are then given to two carefully selected local charities, Shine Theatre Trust being one of them.
Thank you to all the visitors to the museum who have donated so generously and to the management of Tates Garden Centres for their continuing encouragement and support.
Thanks to everyone who bought Bryan’s fantastic photographs, taken during the Sound of White show in December, he has been able to make a very generous donation to the Trust. The money will be spent on subsidising Shining Stars summer term.
Thank you, Bryan and all the proud owners of very beautiful photographs.
A big ‘thank you’ to Premiere Picture who decided, instead of sending Christmas cards, to donate the money to charity. This year the chosen charity is Shine Theatre Trust.
Premiere Picture are based in Brighton and have an office in London. They are leading film financiers and producers, have a look on their website to see what they are up to at the moment.
